Cart Settings

How to access on Fynd Platform

Introduction

Here, you can select the features your customers see on the cart page of your website. These settings work in conjunction with the theme applied to your website. Therefore, in this document, we have also mentioned the process of changing the cart settings of your theme.

Allow GST number

You can optionally allow the user to enter their GST number. A GSTIN (Goods and Services Tax Identification Number) is a 15-digit alphanumeric, PAN-based unique identification number allotted to every registered person under GST. It's optional and only those who have GSTIN can add it for claiming input credits during the filing of GST. Once you enable this, you will get an option to enter your GSTIN number on your cart page.

You must also turn ON the 'GST' option in your Theme Settings. Go to Appearance → Themes → Edit and select Cart Landing in the drop-down as shown below. Click Save once you enable the GST option in Page tab.

Display staff selection

(Fynd Store Usecase) If you enable this, you will get a dropdown list on your cart page, from where you can select a store employee who has assisted a customer in the transaction. In turn, the employee gets incentives for facilitating the ordering journey for the customer. For this to happen, the employee should be in the list of staff, with the incentive option enabled. Check Teams.

You must also turn ON the 'Staff Selection' option in your Theme Settings. Go to Appearance → Themes → Edit and select Cart Landing in the drop-down as shown below. Click Save once you enable the Staff Selection option in Page tab.

Placing order for customer

(Fynd Store Usecase) Enable this option if you work as a store employee in a store that uses this application, and you intend to place an order for your customer.

You must also turn ON the 'Customer' option in your Theme Settings. Go to Appearance → Themes → Edit and select Cart Landing in the drop-down as shown below. Click Save once you enable the Customer option in Page tab.

Address Google Map

Enable this option if you want to provide a map for the users of your mobile app. This will assist them in locating and pin-pointing their address on the map, which might facilitate an accurate delivery of shipment to their location.

There is no theme-level settings for Google Map


Allow coupon with rewards

Enable this option if you want to show offers and coupons to your customers.

You must also turn ON the 'Show Coupons' option in your Theme Settings. Go to Appearance → Themes → Edit and select Cart Landing in the drop-down as shown below. Click Save once you enable the Show Coupons option in Page tab.

Max Cart Items

Enter the maximum number of items your customers can add to their cart. Note that this limit is applicable to the number of items, and not on the number of quantities of an item.

In this case, we have set the Max Cart Items to 2.

Min Cart Value

Enter the minimum order value, below which, your customers cannot place an order.

In this case, we have set the Min Cart Value to ₹10,000.

Delivery Charges

Here, you can enter the delivery charges (if applicable). Any order below the threshold value (Threshold) will be charged an extra delivery fee (Charges). You can set distinct delivery charges by adding more thresholds.
